It is much easier to fly today. Through the help of advanced technology, it is easier for pilots to check the status of the weather through their IPad or Android devices.
It appears that at least part of it was filmed at O'Hare in Chicago - the runway layout, the United Airlines presence (maintenance hangars, etc), and the chalk schedule board shows flights departing non-stop for both coasts,with some flights terminating in Chicago
